There’s a lot of good around here. Good people, good businesses, good ideas—and a whole lot of people who would happily show up for their community if they just knew where to start.
So, we’re making a place to start.
Meet the Good Neighbor Club.
Good Neighbor Club is a community initiative created by Natty West to bring people together, make doing good a little easier, and find simple ways to make our corner of the world better.
Sometimes that might mean rallying around a local family or organization. Sometimes we’ll collect something our community needs. We might get a bunch of people together to lend a hand, support a local business, brighten someone’s day, or just create an excuse for neighbors to actually get to know one another.
It doesn’t have to be huge to matter.
There’s no membership fee, no required number of volunteer hours, and no need to be particularly good at doing good. If you want to show up, pitch in, share an idea, or help when you can—you’re a Good Neighbor.
We’ll be sharing projects, gatherings, opportunities to help, and plenty of good things happening throughout La Crosse County right here.

Why the blog?
This isn’t a blog because we think the internet needs more things to read.
It’s here because good things have a way of inspiring more good things.
We want a place to share what our neighbors are doing, tell the stories behind the projects we take on, celebrate the people and businesses making a difference, and—most importantly—make it really easy to figure out how you can get involved.
Consider this the home base for Good Neighbor Club. We’ll share what we’re working on, what our community needs, what’s coming next, and the really good stuff that happens when people decide to show up for one another.
Maybe you’ll read something here and lend a hand. Maybe you’ll send us an idea. Maybe you’ll discover something happening right down the road that you never knew about.
Whatever brings you here, we hope you leave wanting to make your little corner of the world a little better.
What you’ll find here
Think of this as the bulletin board for all things Good Neighbor Club.
You’ll find ways to get involved, from quick little acts of good to bigger community projects where we could use a few extra hands.
We’ll share what’s happening now—what we’re collecting, who we’re supporting, where we’re showing up, and exactly how you can help.
You’ll meet good people and local businesses doing really cool things around La Crosse County (because they deserve a little love, too).
We’ll keep you in the loop on Good Neighbor gatherings, events, and opportunities to show up—whether we’re doing some good or simply getting neighbors together.
And, maybe our favorite part, we’ll come back and show you what you did. The donations collected, people helped, projects completed, and all the little bits of good that happened because our neighbors showed up.
No doom scrolling here. Just good things happening close to home—and plenty of ways to be part of them.
